The new EQB is set to arrive in the Long Island area sometime this year, and we can’t wait. This stylish electric vehicle will be bursting with power and loaded with all kinds of cool features. What’s more, the 2022 EQB comes in your choice of two trim levels, the EQB 350 4MATIC and the EQB 300 4MATIC. Which one will better suit your needs? Read our comparison below to find out.

The Difference Between the EQB Trim Levels

The two EQB trim levels share a lot in common, and we don’t have a lot of information right now on which features will come standard in which trim. However, we can tell you there is a difference in the power and performance of the trims. That’s because the EQB 350 4MATIC has a slightly more powerful electric motor. Here are some specs:

EQB 300 4MATIC

• Motor – Dual Motors – Front Asynchronous motor and Rear Axle Permanently Excited Synchronous Motors with 168 kW output
• Horsepower – 225 hp
• Torque – 288 lb.-ft.

EQB 350 4MATIC

• Motor – Dual Motors – Front Asynchronous motor and Rear Axle Permanently Excited Synchronous Motors with 215 kW output
• Horsepower – 288 hp
• Torque – 384 lb.-ft.

How Long Does It Take to Charge a EQB?

The charging time for both EQB trim levels is the same. Here are the charging times:

• Charging time, wallbox (240V/32A) – 11.25 hours (10 – 100%)
• Charging time, DC Fast Charging (110kW, 10%-80%) – 31 mins (10 – 80%)
